Transform Your Space with The Green Leaf Nursery Nursery

The Roasting Pot

Fresh Flavors, Right at Your Fingertips

Elevate your kitchen game with our signature Roasting Pot. Carefully curated and hand-planted, this specialty container combines the five essential herbs every home cook needs to transform a simple meal into a gourmet feast. Whether you’re seasoning a Sunday roast, garnishing a pizza, or whisking up a fresh marinade, the "big five" are ready and waiting on your patio or windowsill.

What’s Inside the Pot?

Each herb has been selected not just for its flavor, but for its ability to grow beautifully alongside its neighbors:

  • Sage: Earthy and aromatic—the soul of savory roasting.
  • Rosemary: Needle-like foliage with a piney scent that stands up to high heat.
  • Thyme: Tiny leaves that pack a mighty punch for stews and poultry.
  • Oregano: The "pizza herb" that brings a zesty, Mediterranean flair.
  • Basil: The king of herbs, adding a sweet, peppery finish to every dish.

Care & Harvest Guide

  • Light: Thrives in Full Sun (at least 6 hours of direct light).
  • Water: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Herbs like well-drained soil, so "damp but not soggy" is the goal.
  • Harvesting: To keep your pot full and bushy, pinch off the tips of the herbs regularly. This encourages the plant to branch out rather than grow "leggy."

Chef's Tip: For the best flavor, harvest your herbs in the morning just after the dew has dried but before the midday sun gets too hot!

The Perfect Gift

Our Roasting Pots make incredible gifts for housewarmings, birthdays, or for the "foodie" in your life. It’s the gift that keeps on giving—and tasting great!

Jack & the Beanstalk Pot

A Magical Growing Adventure for All Ages

Step into the world of fairy tales with our Jack and the Beanstalk kit! This specialty pot isn't just a garden—it’s a story waiting to happen. Designed to inspire wonder in children and the "young at heart," this kit provides everything you need to grow your very own "giant" beanstalk that climbs toward the clouds.

What’s in the Magic Pouch?

We’ve gathered all the "enchanted" essentials to ensure your adventure is a success:

  • The Magic Beans: A selection of high-quality, fast-growing Green Bean seeds. Watch in amazement as they sprout in just a few days!
  • The "Skyward" Bamboo Stake: A sturdy, natural bamboo pole that acts as the ladder for your beanstalk to climb.
  • Magic Soil Mix: Our premium, nutrient-rich potting soil designed to give your beans the "giant" boost they need.
  • The Specialty Pot: A durable container that provides the perfect home for your growing legend.
  • A Dash of Magic: We’ve included a "Giant’s Gold Coin" or a story card to spark the imagination as you plant.

Adventure & Care Guide

  • Light: Place your pot in Full Sun. The beanstalk needs plenty of energy to reach the sky!
  • Water: Keep the "Magic Soil" moist. Check daily to make sure your beans have enough to drink for their big climb.
  • Planting: Poke a small hole (about an inch deep), drop in your "magic" seeds, and cover them up.
  • The Climb: Once the sprouts appear, gently guide them toward the bamboo stake. They will naturally start to wrap around and "climb to the giant’s castle."

The Giant’s Secret: Did you know that once your beanstalk grows, it actually produces delicious, crunchy green beans you can eat? It’s the magic that keeps on giving!

The Gift of Wonder

The Jack and the Beanstalk Pot is the perfect birthday gift, classroom project, or rainy-day activity. It’s more than a plant—it’s an experience.

The Tea Pot Garden

A Garden in a Cup

Experience the soothing ritual of "garden-to-glass" brewing with our specialty Tea Pot. This custom-planted container features a selection of fragrant, flavorful herbs specifically chosen for their brewing qualities. Whether you prefer a morning pick-me-up or a calming evening blend, this pot provides a fresh, organic supply of tea ingredients right outside your door.

What’s Brewing?

We’ve selected the most versatile and hardy tea herbs to ensure your pot is as beautiful as it is delicious:

  • Spearmint or Peppermint: The classic base for a refreshing, digestive-friendly tea.
  • Lemon Balm: A member of the mint family with a bright, citrusy scent known for its calming properties.
  • Stevia: Nature’s sweetener! Simply steep a leaf with your other herbs for a calorie-free, sugary finish.
  • Lemon Grass: Adds a sophisticated, spa-like aromatic note and a crisp citrus flavor.
  • Chamomile (Seasonal): Tiny daisy-like flowers that are the gold standard for relaxation.

Care & Brewing Guide

  • Light: Prefers Full Sun to Partial Shade. These herbs appreciate a little afternoon relief from the intense Florida sun.
  • Water: Keep the soil consistently moist. Mint and Lemon Balm are "thirsty" herbs and don't like to dry out completely.
  • Harvesting: Snip the stems frequently! This prevents the mint from taking over and ensures you always have tender, new growth for the best flavor.

How to Brew: Steep 3-5 fresh leaves in hot water for about 5-7 minutes. For an iced "Sun Tea," place a handful of fresh sprigs in a glass jar of water and let it sit in the sun for 2 hours!

The Ultimate Self-Care Gift

Beautiful, aromatic, and practical, the Tea Pot is a thoughtful gift for the tea lover or anyone who needs a little "zen" in their daily routine.

Lemonade Pot

Summer’s Most Refreshing Container

There is nothing quite like the scent of fresh citrus on a warm afternoon. Our Lemonade Pot is a curated collection of "lemon-scented" herbs that bring a bright, zesty twist to your favorite beverages. Perfect for muddling into a glass of ice-cold lemonade, garnishing a summer cocktail, or infusing into a simple syrup, this pot is a sensory delight for your patio.

What’s Zesting Up the Pot?

  • Lemon Balm: A lush, leafy favorite that releases a sweet, lemony fragrance every time you brush against it.
  • Mint: The classic base for any refreshing beverage, adding a cool, crisp finish to your lemonade.
  • Stevia: Nature’s "sugar leaf!" A single leaf adds a calorie-free, natural sweetness to balance the tartness of the lemon.

Care & Serving Guide

  • Light: Thrives in Full Sun to Partial Shade. While it loves the light, a little afternoon shade helps the Lemon Balm stay lush.
  • Water: Prefers regular watering. Keep the soil moist (like a wrung-out sponge) to ensure those essential oils stay potent.
  • Harvesting: Snip the stems from the top to encourage the plants to fill out. The more you use it, the better it grows!

The 30-Second Refresher: Muddle two leaves of Lemon Balm, one sprig of Mint, and half a leaf of Stevia in the bottom of your glass. Pour in your favorite lemonade or sparkling water for an instant gourmet upgrade!

Give the Gift of Sunshine

The Lemonade Pot is a vibrant, cheerful gift for hosts, teachers, or anyone who enjoys spending their summers poolside.

Harmony Pot

Find Your Center in the Garden

In a busy world, your garden should be a sanctuary. Our Harmony Pot is intentionally designed to bring a sense of peace and balance to your patio, balcony, or entryway. By blending silver and green foliage with soft, aromatic scents, this specialty container creates a "zen zone" that invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy the present moment.

A Balanced Blend

We have selected "companion" plants that work together to create a calming aesthetic and a soothing atmosphere:

  • Thai Basil: Adds a spicy, licorice-like aroma and stunning purple stems that provide a vibrant pop of color.
  • Calendula: Known as "Pot Marigold," its bright orange and yellow petals are not only beautiful but are traditionally used for their soothing skin properties.
  • Anise: Provides delicate, feathery green foliage and a sweet, nostalgic scent reminiscent of black licorice.
  • Catnip: A hardy member of the mint family with soft, fuzzy leaves that release a relaxing, earthy fragrance (and a favorite for your feline friends!).
  • Caraway: Adds a fine, lacy texture to the pot, producing elegant white flower umbels that attract beneficial tiny pollinators.

Updated Care & Mindfulness Guide

  • Light: Thrives in Full Sun. These plants need plenty of light to develop their essential oils and produce those vibrant Calendula blooms.
  • Water: Moderate. This pot prefers to be watered when the top inch of soil feels dry. Calendula and Thai Basil like consistent moisture, while the Caraway and Anise prefer not to sit in soggy soil.
  • Maintenance: To keep the pot looking its best, "deadhead" (pinch off) the faded Calendula flowers—this encourages the plant to keep producing new blooms all season long.

The Harmony Ritual: Spend five minutes each morning near your Harmony Pot. Gently rub a leaf of the Thai Basil or Anise between your fingers and take three deep breaths. The sweet, spicy scent is the perfect way to ground yourself before a busy day.

The Harmony Pot is a thoughtful gesture for someone starting a new chapter, a friend needing a "spa day" at home, or anyone who appreciates the quieter side of nature.

Salsa Pot

Your Backyard Cantina in a Single Container

Why buy store-bought when you can harvest your own "pico de gallo" fresh from the patio? Our Salsa Pot is a high-energy collection of the essential ingredients needed to whip up a world-class salsa. Vibrant, aromatic, and incredibly productive, this specialty pot is a favorite for home chefs and summer entertainers alike.

What’s in the Mix?

We’ve selected high-yielding varieties that love the Florida sun and pack a punch of flavor:

  • Jalapeño or Serrano Pepper: The heart of the heat! A sturdy central plant that produces continuous harvests of spicy peppers.
  • Cilantro: The essential "salsa herb" that provides that unmistakable, bright, and citrusy finish.
  • Garlic Chives or Green Onions: Adds a mild, savory bite without needing to pull up a whole bulb.
  • Tomatillo or Patio Tomato: A compact, heavy-fruiting variety perfectly scaled for container living.
  • Mexican Oregano: A zesty, robust herb that adds an authentic depth of flavor to your sauces.

Care & Harvest Guide

  • Light: Thrives in Full Sun (8+ hours is best for pepper production).
  • Water: Moderate. Peppers like a consistent watering schedule—aim to keep the soil moist but ensure the pot has excellent drainage.
  • Harvesting: Pick your peppers as soon as they reach size to encourage the plant to produce more. Snip cilantro from the outside of the bunch to keep the center growing.

The 5-Minute Salsa: Simply dice two peppers, a handful of cilantro, and your tomatoes. Add a squeeze of lime and a pinch of salt, and you’ve got the freshest salsa on the block!

The Perfect Party Gift

The Salsa Pot is a fantastic gift for the "Grill Master" in your life, a fun housewarming present, or a great way to get the whole family involved in the kitchen.
