 The Ashley Cucumber is a legendary variety for Southern gardeners. It was specifically bred in South Carolina to thrive in the high heat and humidity that we experience here in Florida. 

• Downy Mildew Resistance: This is its greatest strength. While other cucumbers often succumb to mildew in our humid Dunnellon summers, Ashley remains productive and healthy much longer.
• Classic Slicer: It produces beautiful, dark green 7–8 inch fruits with a slightly tapered end. They are crisp, refreshing, and never bitter if harvested at the right time.
• Heat-Loving: Unlike many northern varieties that stop producing when the temperatures spike, the Ashley actually prefers the warmth.

 The Poinsett 76 is often called the "Market Favorite" because it produces some of the most beautiful, uniform, and disease-resistant cucumbers you can grow in a Southern climate. 

• The Ultimate Disease Fighter: It was bred at Clemson University to be resistant to almost everything Florida throws at it: Downy Mildew, Powdery Mildew, Angular Leaf Spot, and Anthracnose.
• Perfect Slicers: It produces very straight, 7-8 inch dark green fruits with a tender skin and a classic crisp, mild flavor.
• Vigorous Vines: The vines are very healthy and productive, making it a great variety for a backyard trellis or a large garden bed.

 The Suyo Long is a traditional long-fruited variety from Northern China that is a complete conversation starter in the garden. It is famous for its unusual ribbed appearance and its ability to grow incredibly long. 

• Impressive Size: These cucumbers can grow up to 15–18 inches long. If you grow them on a trellis, they grow perfectly straight; if grown on the ground, they tend to curl into interesting "C" or "S" shapes.
• Exceptional Flavor: They are burpless and non-bitter, with a sweet, crisp flavor and very few seeds. The skin is thin, so there’s no need to peel them—even those "ribs" are tender!
